The Band

Andrea Cecchetto is a drummer, but has also impressive skills as a keyboard, guitar and bass player. He started playing piano and drums around the age of four, under the guidance of his composer/pianist father and later graduated from the Cesare Pollini Conservatory of Music in Padua. In 2017 he had the opportunity to work and study with Peter Erskine and Dave Weckl in Los Angeles and joined the Chick Corea Elektric Band as a drum tech, working with his mentor Dave Weckl. He has a prestigious list of collaborations including: Steffen Brix, Mark Ong with the Steffen Brix International Trio, Mad Fellaz, Endless Season Band, Omar Al Faqir, Fabio Trentini, Michele Bon (Orme), William Dotto (Orme,Banco del Mutuo Soccorso), to name a few.

Marco Baldi, guitarist and teacher. Graduated from the conservatory in Jazz Guitar, he was a pupil of Carl Verheyen, Mike Stern, Alessio Menconi, Jonathan Kreisberg. As a guitarist he has collaborated with David’s Pianosound, Carl Verheyen and many others. In 2021 he was the winner of JTC Guitar’s April Jotm. He publishes 3 Jazz guitar books with Maestro Alessio Menconi.

Marco Zago is a pianist, keyboardist, composer, and arranger. He holds a degree in jazz piano from the F. Venezze Conservatory and is currently a Master’s student at the prestigious Codarts in Rotterdam. He has an impressive list of collaborations, including Alexia, Sonorha, Oliver Onions, Tony Dickinson, Leo di Angilla, Daniele Liverani, Orchestra Ritmico-Sinfonica Italiana, and many others. Additionally, he is the founder, bandleader, and primary composer of the fusion project ‘the Mad Lab.

Lorenzo Di Prima, bassist and teacher, studied with world-famous bassists such as Michael Manring, Cameron Brown, Davide Pezzin and Federico Malaman, pianists Adam Holzman, Paolo Vianello and saxophonist Michele Polga. Known as the band’s philosopher, he graduated in Philosophy and Philosophical Sciences with honors from the University of Padua. As bassist and arranger he has collaborated with Endless Season, Piero Calabrese, Thomas Bocchimpani, Eva Pevarello and many others.

Fabio Dessi singer and Vocal Coach, in addition to the intense didactic activity, has been frontman since 2009 of the band Arthemis with whom he recorded 4 discs and played in the most important festivals in Europe and Japan. He studied and collaborated with Michele Luppi (Vision Divine, Whitesnake). He also sings with The Cage-Genesis Tribute Band.
